Megan Racing sponsors Chris Ward for the 2012
February 11, 2012 (City of Industry, Calif.) – Megan Racing is happy to announce Chris Ward as a sponsored driver for 2012. “We look forward to working with Chris and I think he has a great future in the sport”, says Walter，General Manager of Megan Racing. This will be the first time Megan Racing as supported an East Coast competitor and it certainly will not be the last.

About Chris Ward
Chris Ward will be competing as a Rookie driver in the Formula Drift series using Megan Racing parts. After 3 years of local practice and competition events, Chris and his talent were ready for battle. He competed in Streetwise Drift’s Formula Drift Pro-Am Series in 2011, where after 4 out of 5 podium finishes at different tracks up and down the East Coast, he earned his professional Formula Drift License.

Not many of you may know but Megan Racing turns 10 years old this month. We are celebrating our 10th year anniversary with a special billboard located right where Megan Racing currently resides, in the City of Industry. We are proud at what we have accomplished so far and we continue to give it our best.

So keep a look out for our billboard near Hacienda and Valley!!

So….I went out to Irwindale this past weekend to support our Megan drivers and the weather was just perfect. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and the race was intense. Although I wasn’t able to stay till the end, I did get a chance to see the first part of the race (: Great job to everyone that took part in FD this year and thank-you to all the Megan Racing supporters out there!!! Can’t wait to see what the next year will bring us (: I’ve accumulated some photos at Irwindale, enjoy!!

This past weekend some of the Megan boys visited Chuckwalla Valley Raceway in Desert City (:

The 1M is our current project car and after testing it out on the tracks, the parts performed fairly well. Some of our drivers, Cyrus and Taka, came out this weekend as well! Everyone had a blast and they definitely did their damage on the tracks. Enjoy the photos !!! (:
